The main problem that's affecting me is that I can't do stuff on iTunes because it I switched to standard mode and I had to restart my computer and when I tried to update date/time using an internet time server the date/time were successfully synchronized. I had same issue once. Make sure to set the start up type as "Automatic" and make sure it is started. And it depends on your motherboard, its what keeps track of your time when your computers off.
