Thanks for all man! The odd part was that I could use my smartphone as a Wifi access point just so I could test the Wii U's internet access. Exit out, start the process over, being sure to enter everything correctly. Re: Error code 2004.

When you cannot establish a connection to the DNS server, a router power cycle usually fixes the problem!! There's also the possibility of simply needing to start over with a new connection.
